Here it is, our first Mothers Day without you Mom.

Everything seemed to move so fast over this year.
Now I look back and a part of me still can't believe you are gone.

I am just so grateful that I had the opportunity
To spend so much time with you in your final years.

I am so grateful that I had the chance to know you more fully
Through your remembrances of your past,
Your stories of life before I was born,
Our trips to nostalgic places.

I understand the sacrifices you made for us,
More now, than I ever realized before.

I understand the love you gave us,
More now, than I ever fully appreciated before.

I am so grateful for you, on this Mothers Day, and every day.

Happy Mothers Day Mom.
