Just two months ago, I remember telling Mom we were intending to
spend Thanksgiving with her.

So much has happened in that two months.
It's hard to believe she's already been gone for nearly a month.

Today is Thanksgiving.

I guess I was right though.
I am spending Thanksgiving with Mom, at least in spirit.

On this day of giving thanks, I remember I have so much to be thankful for.

Mom gave me the gift of life.  For that gift I am thankful.
I am also thankful for her life, and the wonderful person she was.
I am thankful for my Dad's life, and the wonderful person he was.
I am thankful for my wife, and my two precious daughters.
I am thankful for all of my family.
I am thankful for my friends.

Today is Thanksgiving,
And I am giving thanks.
